What are scent sticks?
Actually, perhaps we should clarify that when we say scent sticks, it is a product consisting of two parts that together become what we call scent sticks. It is partly the bottle that contains fragrance oil and it comes with fragrance sticks. Scent sticks are a way to spread fragrance without you having to fit them, unlike candles, which you should not leave unattended.
Can I refill my scent sticks?
We wouldn't be Remoair if there wasn't Refill for your scent sticks, so of course you can refill your scent sticks. It's very simple and in this article we give you smart advice and tips on how you can maximize refills for scent sticks. Refills for scented sticks are so much more than just scented sticks and new scented oil for scented sticks.
Option 1 ⎯ Refill with the same fragrance again
If you have decided to continue with the same good scent, you have simplified the whole thing a little more. We recommend that you top up with a refill when the oil has more or less run out. You can certainly top up a little from time to time, but by letting the scent sticks run out, you get new fresh oil in the whole bottle. Regardless of what, you change the knitting needles approximately every 6-8 months.
Option 2 ⎯ Top up with a new scent
Okay, you've thought about reusing the bottle, but the scent is new. This is still very simple but you should still read through this carefully. We recommend that you run out of all the oil before shifting. Please note that whatever you do, it is forbidden to pour any residue from fragrance oil down the sink, toilet or into nature. Not only can it damage your decor and the material pieces, fragrance oil does not belong in our waterways. So if you have a lot of oil left but are going to change it, we recommend that you pour that oil into an old pet bottle and hand it in to landfill for waste disposal.
Take out a plain plate and place several sheets of kitchen paper on the plate. Place your bottle upside down for a few hours. Then turn the bottle over and wipe off any spills with a damp cloth. Now fill up with your new scent and replace the old sticks with the new sticks that come with it.
Option 3 ⎯ Use a vase or bottle
If you intend to create unique scent sticks with your own vase or bottle, we ask you to first ensure that the surface inside the bottle can withstand oil/liquid. Some colors dissolve in oil and some materials are so porous that they let oil through. But if you double-checked, we say ⎯ GO ON!
Fill up the desired amount of oil in your vase or bottle and insert the new included sticks. Keep in mind that the sticks will absorb the oil and become oily, so make sure that the opening of your vase or bottle is also oil resistant.
Option 4 - Use the refill bottle
Maybe you think you can get by on the refill bottle as it is!? Yes, but it goes at least as well. Then it's just a matter of unscrewing the cork and placing the sticks in the oil.
