Sustainability in every detail – this is how we build for the future

In 2024, we took major steps to strengthen our environmental work. We achieved one of our most important climate goals earlier than planned by switching to 100% recycled plastic for our products. This marks a milestone in our work for a more sustainable future.

But we didn’t stop there. During the year, we redesigned our candle and reed packaging with a focus on reducing material and adhesive consumption, while making them more attractive and sustainable. The adhesive labels are gone, and instead we have developed a sleeve made of recycled paper from a producer that uses green energy and offsets climate change. These new packaging will be launched in 2025 and are a result of our promise to combine quality with consideration for the environment. We want to strengthen our profile as a premium choice but with a focus on craftsmanship at the same time.

We reached our climate goal with 100% recycled plastic

Reducing our plastic use and choosing more sustainable alternatives has always been a priority for us. In 2024, we took the final step and switched to 100% recycled plastic in our products. This was one of our biggest climate goals, which we originally planned to reach by 2025. Thanks to hard work and clear priorities, we were able to meet it already this year.

The transition to recycled plastic means that every plastic bottle we sell now contributes to a circular economy, where existing resources are given new life instead of further burdening the environment. Compared to newly produced plastic, recycled plastic reduces energy use by up to 60% and carbon dioxide emissions by up to 50%.

For us, this is not only an important step towards sustainability – it is proof of what is possible when quality and care go hand in hand.

New packaging with sustainable design

In 2024, we worked intensively on developing new packaging for our candles and fragrance sticks. The goal was to create a design that not only reduces paper usage but is also sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing. Adhesive labels are now a thing of the past – instead, we are introducing a sleeve made of recycled paper, made by a producer that works with green energy and climate compensation.

Why recycled paper? Compared to virgin paper, recycled paper requires up to 70% less energy and 50% less water to produce. It also reduces waste and preserves our forests, which are crucial to combating climate change. Our new packaging shows that sustainability and innovation can go hand in hand without compromising on quality or appearance.

The new packaging will be launched in 2025 and marks the beginning of a new era for our products – sustainable, elegant and functional.
